This unprecedented event started life as the dream of Aziz Afkir. Having lived in the UK for many years, he wanted to bring the sun, vibrancy and wonderful traditional arts and crafts from his native land to the UK. His hard work has resulted in this opportunity for you to experience the stunning range and quality of the work of Moroccan artisans working in the traditional style. It's also a wonderful chance for people of each country to meet in openness and experience each other's culture.
Whether you're looking for the perfect gift for someone special, or you'd like to bring some Moroccan style to your home, office or wardrobe, this is the place to be.

The Moroccan Market Of Handicraft brings the kasbah to your door and gives you the opportunity to experience Morocco directly. You can wander among traditional Moroccan Berber tents, soaking up the atmosphere while a Moroccan Gnawa band plays traditional music. The traders will offer you your choice from a huge variety of artisan products, from pottery and ceramics, through handmade carpets and leather goods. You'll also be able to sample traditional Moroccan foods and herbs and spices.
The Market has received support and backing from the Moroccan Ministry of Artisan Affairs, the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism, and the Moroccan Ambassdor to the UK, Princess Lalla Joumala (cousin to the King of Morocco). This reflects the growing importance of relationships between the UK and Morocco.
These promise to be spectacular events and can't be missed. Please check the market schedule to find the nearest one to you.
